Fun Collaboration Project with The Wooden Elephant in Leicestershire

I am thrilled to announce a recent creative project with The Wooden Elephant, a local Leicestershire business with an inspiring story.

This collaboration was especially fun and rewarding, and it’s a great example of what two businesses can achieve when working together.

I designed a fresh set of logos and custom social media templates for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and The Wooden Elephant’s Etsy store.

In return, I was delighted to receive a personalised lightbox featuring our logo, which now takes pride of place in the office as a reminder of how local businesses can support each other.

About The Wooden Elephant

Founded in 2023 by Kyle Foxon, The Wooden Elephant is a laser engraving and 3D printing business that creates handcrafted products such as lightboxes, keychains, and wall art.

Kyle’s journey is especially inspiring. He left a traditional 9 to 5 job to become a full-time carer for his grandfather and turned his passion for crafting into a successful business.

The Wooden Elephant has achieved nearly 1,500 sales on Etsy and holds Star Seller status, demonstrating the quality and appeal of its products.

Creating a Professional Brand Identity

For this project, I focused on designing a logo and social media templates that reflect The Wooden Elephant’s creativity and personality.

Logo Design

I developed an elephant logo with more character than the previous version, using a charcoal brown and ivory colour palette for a modern yet classic look. Subtle details, such as curving the tusks into a “W” shape, tie directly to the company name.

Social Media Templates

Templates were created in Canva for effortless updates across platforms, keeping all posts consistent and professional. I ensured they were optimised for Instagram’s 4:5 ratio and easy to edit for future content.

This combination of branding and templates ensures that The Wooden Elephant presents a cohesive, professional, and engaging image online.

A Collaboration That Goes Both Ways

One of the best parts of this collaboration is that it was mutually inspiring.

Kyle surprised me with a personalised lightbox featuring our logo, which now takes pride of place in my office.
